An inspirational poem

In this world, when you arrive,

It's you alone, that all you know,
It's you alone, who makes a cry,
And it's you alone, who opens his eyes.
Alone you learn to be alive.

Of your own, you cry for thirst,
And of your own, you cry for hunger.

Alone, you learn, how to crawl,
Alone, you learn, how to walk,
And alone, you learn, how to talk.

Alone, you know, that it's you alone.

Alone, you are, when you need support,
And alone, you are, when you need help.

Alone, you are, when you suffer,
And it's you alone, who does recover.
Alone, you make lot of friends,
And it's you alone, who loses them.

Alone, you know, that you are not alone,
And it's you alone, you know, you are alone.

Lonely, you are born,
And lonely, you die;
Loneliness is something, you are born with,
It's something you live with,
And it's also something, you die with.

Whether lonely or not, who is it,
Who can do anything?
Oh certainly, it's you alone!
So why feel sad when alone?
And why not feel happy, when alone?

For alone was he, who first climbed Mt Everest,
And alone was he, who brought freedom to India.
Alone, about them, we read in history today,
And alone, are they able to reach the apex.

Alone, you can achieve the best,
And alone, you can be known to be the best,
You know it's you alone, who can be the best?
Alone you are wise, alone you rise,
It's you alone, who can touch the skies,
If you know, that it's you alone.

Alone you know, that it's you alone.

How deadlines at work make us hyper...

Most of us who work in corporates, Get engaged in some or the other projects, Standing somewhere on the management ladder, Being an executive, manager or a director, Whether or not a fresher or a senior, Deadlines always make us hyper. When the deadlines are normally set by us, Seems like they can easily be met by us, But when the deadlines actually come near, Time is less we invariably fear. Busier we seem than ever before, Pressure takes a toll on us even more, Nightmares we get of our bosses shouting at us, Dire shall be consequences if the deadline is not met by us. Neither we relish food, nor we enjoy sleep, Work comes first is what we feel, Hostages we become within the confines of our office, Without meeting deadline, dare not we leave our office. Glued are our eyes to the computer screen, Our fingers busy tapping the keyboard unseen, Clicking of the mouse becomes a compulsion, Working for long hours becomes an obsession Just like time and tide wa

It did not happen my way

When things don't happen the way we desire, Oft we find ourselves dismal and haywire, Saddened by which we grumble and say, It did not happen my way. Greater our desires, greater our expectations, More the anticipation, more the frustration, And when we fail to meet our aspiration, Delusion and depression is the precipitation. But can we actually control things? Mistaken are we about this as human beings. Never can we fail, becomes our notion Overwhelmed by the success of a promotion Life is uncertain, who knows what may happen tomorrow, Such is the nature of this mortal sorrow, Where there can be no gain without pain, Where there can be no sunshine without rain, Where there can be no light without darkness, Where there can be no happiness without sadness,... There are two sides to everything, Duality is the nature of universally everything. Thus Life cannot be always our way, Learn to recognize the good day and bad day, Do not forget: Every dog has his d
