Most of us who work in corporates, Get engaged in some or the other projects, Standing somewhere on the management ladder, Being an executive, manager or a director, Whether or not a fresher or a senior, Deadlines always make us hyper. When the deadlines are normally set by us, Seems like they can easily be met by us, But when the deadlines actually come near, Time is less we invariably fear. Busier we seem than ever before, Pressure takes a toll on us even more, Nightmares we get of our bosses shouting at us, Dire shall be consequences if the deadline is not met by us. Neither we relish food, nor we enjoy sleep, Work comes first is what we feel, Hostages we become within the confines of our office, Without meeting deadline, dare not we leave our office.
